The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks an NSHE Specialist 2 to support faculty, finance and human resources operations. The role acts as fiscal manager for the department, managing state, extramural, self-supporting and foundation funds, and producing financial and forecasting reports for leadership.

The position also oversees HR processes, supervises five classified staff, and provides budget training and Workday guidance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in planning, coordinating and administering a program or service; OR
• High school diploma and four years of experience in planning, coordinating and administering a program or service; OR
• One year of NSHE Specialist I experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support faculty, finance and HR processes for the department.
• Provide budget development and forecasting reports for the department.
• Train staff on budgetary tasks and Workday processes.
• Oversee daily HR transactions for faculty, classified, graduate assistants and other staff.
• Prepare materials for program reviews and accreditation data collection and reporting.
