Job summary

The University of Kansas Controllers Office Finance Help Desk seeks a Functional Systems Analyst to support the university’s financial systems. The position reports to the Functional System Manager and works closely with the KU Financial Management Systems (FMS) team, Procurement Services and Accounts Payable and is focused on campus-wide functional support for all departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information technology, or related field and 1 year professional accounting, procurement or related experience in an automated business environment OR high school diploma with 3 years of professional work experience.
• 1 year experience with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint.
• Excellent written communication skills and strong customer service.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate to a wide constituency of business partners and users.

Responsibilities

• Process Help Desk tickets for end-user assistance with the financial system, focusing on Oracle Financials in the Cloud (FITC) and Concur.
• Collaborate with teammates to monitor and troubleshoot supplier and order distribution issues; assist with testing features and upgrades.
• Provide end-user training for FITC and Concur; develop training materials and coordinate locations; training may be in-person or virtual.
• Assist FMS team in evaluating and testing scenarios related to updates, fixes, and enhancements in FITC.
• Other duties as assigned.
