Job summary

Cedrela Consulting Group seeks a Consultant (General Accounting) to maintain financial records, prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and bilingual English/Spanish communication abilities. MBA is preferred and certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• MBA preferred; additional qualifications are a plus.
• Certifications in consulting or related fields are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
• Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Process payroll and ensure accurate deductions and tax withholdings.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and coordinating with tax advisors.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Provide financial information and reports to management as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
