Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior FP&A professional to join the North American Sort Center Finance team. You will partner with senior directors across operations and finance to shape investment strategies, build complex financial models, and deliver cost-reduction insights for a growing network.

The role emphasizes analytics, scalability, and cross-functional engagement with teams in Operations, HR, Capacity Planning, and Tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
• 5+ years of applying KPIs to analyses experience
• 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets
• 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale controllership with measurable results
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

Responsibilities

• Identifies basic control risks, evaluates impact, proposes changes, and implements improvements to remediate gaps
• Delivers weekly/monthly financial performance reports using MS Excel and financial systems
• Works with diverse data sources and addresses data quality issues
• Communicates data findings clearly to various audiences
• Identifies and implements solutions to automate and improve finance processes
• Manages priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations
• Participates in cost-reduction initiatives and performance reviews
• Influences partners and drives cross-functional collaboration to optimize financial performance
