Job summary

Aon is hiring for a Financial Planning and Analysis role in the North America AGRC organization. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, partnering with regional leaders to translate performance into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, controllership, or business‑unit finance.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and convert financial analysis into clear recommendations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue and expense drivers, accruals, allocations, and operating margin.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work within recurring close, forecast, and planning deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior leadership.
• High degree of judgment, ownership, curiosity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating plan, forecast, and long-range planning for North America AGRC.
• Develop revenue, salary, OPEX, and operating income outlooks from performance and drivers.
• Partner with AGRC leaders to evaluate forecast risks and opportunities.
• Maintain bridges between actuals, forecast, and prior-year performance.
• Assess impact of growth investments and attrition on forecasts.
• Ensure forecast assumptions are supported by business drivers and in systems.
• Serve as finance partner to NA AGRC leadership and Commercial Risk finance.
• Provide financial insight on performance, investments, and resource allocation.
• Develop business cases with revenue, cost, utilization, timing, payback, and margin implications.
• Challenge assumptions and distinguish baseline vs. growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with regional, practice, controllership, workforce planning, and global finance teams.
• Translate financial topics into concise recommendations for senior leadership.
• Lead monthly/quarterly reviews for AGRC; prepare management reporting for leadership.
• Identify variances and trends; maintain metrics like headcount, hiring progress, and investment performance.
• Improve clarity and efficiency of financial reporting while keeping detail for decision-making.
• Support QBRs, forecast reviews, and planning reviews.
