Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead/Solutions Architect for remote engagement. The role bridges Finance, IT, and Development with a focus on modernization of .NET, SQL Server, Azure, Azure DevOps, and SAP-integrated finance apps.

The contract-to-hire arrangement targets candidates willing to convert to FTE after the initial period. Responsibilities include leading delivery, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural decisions while maintaining hands-on coding.

Qualifications

• Proven Tech Lead with architecture responsibilities
• Hands-on development in C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML/CSS
• Experience with Azure Cloud and CI/CD pipelines
• SAP experience with ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA is required

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor for Finance applications
• Partner with Controllers, CFOs, Product Owners, and Finance stakeholders
• Translate technical concepts into business terms for non-technical audiences
• Apply accounting concepts to explain solutions, prioritize work, and enforce delivery accountability
• Discuss financial controls, GRC, SOX, General Ledger, and finance processes
• Lead and mentor development teams while remaining hands-on
• Own delivery estimates, planning, and timelines with capacity forecasts
• Review code and oversee Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Own deployments and release management
• Expand and mature the Architecture practice as a Solutions Architect
• Create roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and modernization strategies
• Sign off on architectural decisions and designs
• Re-architect legacy apps to improve data quality, scalability, security, and operations
• Support application modernization and cloud hardening
