Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead with strong architecture capabilities to bridge Finance, Accounting, IT, and Development. This remote contract-to-hire role leads delivery, mentors engineers, and partners with CFOs and Controllers to drive modernization across .NET, SQL Server, Azure, Azure DevOps, and SAP-integrated finance applications.

You will own delivery estimates, oversee deployments, review code, and shape roadmaps and future-state designs while expanding the Architecture

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead with architecture responsibilities.
• Hands-on development with C#.NET, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS.
• Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with MudBlazor or similar UI frameworks.
• Mandatory SAP experience with ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA.
• Deep knowledge of Finance and Accounting domains.
• Leadership in modernization and cloud initiatives.
• Excellent communication with CFOs, Controllers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and advisor for Finance applications.
• Partner with Controllers, CFOs, Product Owners, and Finance stakeholders.
• Translate technical concepts into business terms for non-technical audiences.
• Apply accounting concepts to explain solutions and prioritize work.
• Discuss financial controls, GRC, SOX, and GL processes.
• Lead and mentor development teams while remaining hands-on.
• Own delivery estimates, planning, and capacity forecasts.
• Review code and oversee Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Own deployments and release management.
• Expand the Architecture practice and act as Solutions Architect.
• Create roadmaps and future-state designs.
• Sign off on architectural decisions and designs.
• Re-architect legacy apps for data quality, scalability, security.
• Support modernization and cloud hardening.
