Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced ERP Reporting and Analytics Solution Architect to define and lead the reporting, analytics, and financial-data architecture for a large-scale transformation of Amazon’s Finance ERP platform in Austin, TX.

The role sits at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, Data, Product, Solution Architecture, and Engineering, translating complex reporting requirements into scalable architecture and partnering across ERP Product, SAP, and implementation teams.

Qualifications

10+ years of technology/domain experience in software, cloud, data & analytics
Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Finance or related field
Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Workday) or data analytics tools (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end reporting and analytics architecture for Finance ERP landscape.
Define reporting patterns for operational reports, dashboards, self-service analytics, and statutory reports.
Establish architecture standards for SAP/BW/Data Cloud, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, and CDS views.
Design reusable financial data models: GL, consolidation, intercompany, subledgers, currency, hierarchies.
Collaborate with ERP Product, Engineering, SAP, and partners through design, build, and deployment.
Evaluate SAP content vs configuration or extensions to meet requirements.
Set performance standards for data volumes, refresh, latency, concurrency.
Create architecture documents, roadmaps, and executive recommendations.
