Job summary

Amazon seeks an experienced ERP Reporting and Analytics Solution Architect to define and lead the reporting, analytics, and financial-data architecture for a large-scale transformation of Amazon’s Finance ERP platform.

This role sits at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, Data, Product, Solution Architecture, and Engineering, translating complex requirements into scalable enterprise data products and reporting ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology-domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud, data & analytics).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) or data-analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reporting and analytics architecture for the Finance ERP landscape.
• Define reporting patterns and decision criteria for operational, embedded analytics, dashboards, and statutory reporting.
• Establish architecture standards for SAP/Data analytics platforms (SAC, Datasphere, BW/4HANA, Databricks).
• Design reusable financial data models covering General Ledger, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and reporting hierarchies.
• Partner with ERP Product, Engineering, SAP, and partners through architecture, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Evaluate standard SAP content and determine when to use configuration, CDS extensions, or analytics tools.
• Set reporting-performance standards for data volumes, refresh frequency, and availability.
• Develop architecture documents, roadmaps, decision materials, and executive recommendations.
