Job summary

Osmo, a digital olfaction company based in Elizabeth, NJ, seeks a Finance & Operations Engineer to join the CFO’s office. You will own FP&A, modeling, budgets, and investor materials, partnering with leaders to deliver data-driven decisions.

You’ll design and maintain the data infrastructure, build automations, and push AI-enabled finance tools to scale operations and support strategic growth.

This role blends financial rigor with operational execution in a tech-forward, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of FP&A or comparable financial analytical role.
• Advanced modeling skills with auditable models from scratch.
• Ability to own and complete significant work independently across multiple projects.
• Strong written communication: concise and well-organized.
• Tech-forward finance operations with AI tooling and scripting/automation.
• Comfort operating with incomplete information and good judgment calls.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems at the transaction level (NetSuite preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own the corporate financial model, update long-range P&L and cash forecast.
• Build and maintain department budgets; report variances with commentary.
• Prepare board- and investor-facing materials and data room exhibits.
• Support month-end close and management reporting package.
• Build models for strategic decisions: make-vs-buy, pricing, headcount ROI.
• Design and maintain data infrastructure connecting systems to the model.
