Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Finance & Operations Engineer to join the Office of the CFO, owning FP&A, financial modeling, and business partnering across the organization. You will model long-range financials, manage budgets, and prepare materials for boards and investors, while building automated data flows and AI-enabled finance processes.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or a closely related analytical role.
• Advanced modeling skills; able to build a clean, auditable model from scratch and identify when a model is wrong.
• Demonstrated ability to own and complete significant work independently across multiple projects with different stakeholders and timelines.
• Strong written communication; concise and well-organized.
• Tech-forward approach to finance operations; uses AI tooling, scripting, or APIs; automation first.
• Comfort operating with incomplete information and making reasonable judgments without seeking permission.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems at the transaction level; NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the corporate financial model—maintain and extend long-range P&L, cash forecast, and scenario analyses.
• Build and maintain department budgets; track actuals vs. plan and surface variances with clear commentary.
• Prepare board- and investor-facing financial materials and exhibits.
• Support the month-end close; own financial reporting and the management reporting package.
• Build models for strategic decisions: make-vs-buy, pricing, headcount ROI, capital allocation, partnerships.
• Design and maintain data infrastructure linking business systems to the corporate model; automate manual bridges.
• Tread Finance Engineering & Systems: improve the finance stack, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
• Partner with department heads on budget planning and ongoing forecasts; question drivers and keep plans grounded.
• Own variance narratives; work with leaders to understand causes and implications.
• Lead cross-functional projects and ensure financially-minded ownership across initiatives.
• Maintain vendor management, contract administration, compliance filings, and platform administration.
• Investor & Leadership Support: prepare due-diligence materials and board/quarterly updates; take on delegated workstreams from the CFO.
