14W in Baltimore is seeking an ambitious Editorial Assistant to support our editorial and marketing teams. This entry-level role focuses on research, data handling, and growing as a writer and researcher in a fast-paced publishing environment.

You will help research story ideas, fact-check sources, draft and edit articles and reports, track market trends, and assist with publication workflows. AI tools will be used to accelerate work while preserving accuracy and high editorial quality.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication for editorial tasks.
• Research skills with ability to find credible sources.
• Interest in finance, investing, markets or business.
• Comfort using AI tools for writing, research, brainstorming and synthesis.
• Ability to fact-check AI-generated content for accuracy.
• Basic familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong organization to handle multiple deadlines.
