Job summary

Life Surge Llc is seeking an AI-Enabled Editor (Copywriter) to accelerate content production while preserving accuracy, voice, and credibility. The role blends AI-assisted drafting with human oversight to ensure high-quality press releases, web content, and stories across media formats.

Responsibilities include owning content quality, adapting core messages, and collaborating with the Communications team to maintain brand voice at scale, including rapid-response materials when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in copywriting, editing, communications, brand content, journalism, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field is a plus.
• Excellent writing and editing skills across short-form and long-form content.
• Demonstrated ability to write in multiple formats and voices.
• Hands-on experience using AI writing tools as part of a professional workflow.
• Strong prompting skills and an understanding of how to improve AI outputs through context, structure, examples, and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and editing press releases, media statements, executive talking points, FAQs, web content, bios, student stories, social copy, and other materials.
• Using AI tools to accelerate first drafts, rewrites, summaries, and content adaptation.
• Taking ownership of the quality of every piece of content, regardless of author.
• Editing content for clarity, structure, tone, accuracy, and brand voice.
• Collaborating with the Manager, Earned Media & Communications to translate messaging priorities.
• Supporting the Narrative & Content Strategist and other partners in messaging architecture.
