Job summary

MFS offers a 10-12 week Summer Internship in Boston within the Global Distribution Solutions department. Interns work full-time, 35-40 hours per week, and are paid hourly.

The program runs June 9, 2027 to August 13, 2027, providing structured learning experiences and exposure to sales and financial services. Interns will gain knowledge of investing and the mutual fund industry, while contributing to risk assessments, records reviews, and distributor-related projects.

Qualifications

• Students with a strong interest in financial services, ideally in sales and marketing.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Team-oriented, yet able to work independently with multiple recipients.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects relating to risk assessment, procedure writing and process controls.
• Review and update records, private inventories, and business continuity processes.
• Engage in projects involving distributors, including strategic alliance projects and contract discussions.
