Job summary

Helix Traffic Solutions seeks a Director of Finance to lead day-to-day accounting operations, manage the month-end close, and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP. The role reports to the executive team and partners with leadership on strategic financial planning.

The candidate will own cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and the annual budget process while driving process improvements and automation to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA license or equivalent certification preferred.
• 7+ years progressive financial management experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in finance.
• Solid financial, analytical, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Owns all accounting operations: daily cash management, AR, invoicing, AP, GL and reconciliations.
• Performs weekly cash flow forecasting and intercompany cash activities.
• Prepares financial statements and schedules per monthly close under GAAP.
• Oversees intercompany reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
• Supports annual financial audits and internal controls program.
• Leads annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly estimates with executive team.
