Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience.
• Experience in grocery/retail/distribution/multi-unit operations preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Strong systems and technology proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and accounting.
• Lead the Controller and accounting team to ensure accurate, compliant operations.
• Partner with leaders to identify margin improvement, cost reduction, and labor optimization.
• Ensure strong internal controls and process consistency across operations.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity planning.
• Support long-range planning, financial modeling, and KPI development.
• Coordinate audits, tax planning, and CPA relationships.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and regulations.
• Participate in executive leadership development and succession planning.
