Job summary

Bodine Electric Company seeks a Director of Finance to lead accounting and finance functions, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, risk management, and internal controls.

The Director will work closely with the President/CEO and management to provide financial insight and recommendations to support business decisions and overall objectives. The role also covers international subsidiary reporting and strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• CPA is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis.
• Leadership experience within an Accounting/Finance function.
• Experience with ERP systems; Epicor Kinetic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Accounting Department and day-to-day financial operations.
• Direct monthly and annual financial reporting and analyze financial performance.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts.
• Analyze sales, product costs, profitability, cash flow, working capital and expenses.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Manage banking, borrowing, treasury, and lender relationships.
• Oversee tax reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate risk management and insurance programs.
• Support financial reporting for the company’s international subsidiary.
• Prepare financial updates for leadership, shareholders, and the Board.
