Douglas Dynamics is seeking a Director of Finance to lead all finance and accounting for the CSI division. You will drive financial leadership, provide strategic insight, and support tactical decisions to maximize profitability across multiple plants.

The role requires 10+ years in finance/accounting, manufacturing background, and strong cost accounting skills. Expect collaboration with leadership, responsible budgeting, and ongoing process improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Manufacturing company background required.
• Strong cost accounting skills and background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor financial performance, develop KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead strategic planning to support growth and profitability.
• Provide timely, accurate financial reporting and GAAP compliance.
• Oversee monthly financial results, audits, and SOX compliance for the CSI division.
• Coach and lead CSI finance staff and drive process improvements in accounting systems.
• Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial modeling for the division.
• Oversee inventory valuation and product costing; cycle counts and physical inventory oversight.
• Support M&A activities: due diligence, synergy modeling, and integration.
• Travel 10–25% as needed across plants and locations.
