Golden Valley Health Centers is seeking a senior accounting leader to oversee accounting, payroll, cash management, accounts payable, and purchasing. The role ensures month-end and year-end close activities are completed on time and coordinates audits with external auditors.

The position reports to the CFO, supervising multiple accounting functions and staff. Responsibilities include annual budgeting, financial modeling, and improving accounting processes while maintaining strong internal

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university.
CPA preferred.
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare setting such as a hospital or clinic.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.

Mansioni

Oversees accounting functions to ensure accurate records for the organization.
Supervises Accounting Manager, Purchasing Manager, and staff responsible for payroll, general accounting, grant accounting, fixed asset accounting, and 340B accounting.
Coordinates Board financial statements and related graphs.
Manages daily cash balance reporting, cash flow monitoring, and transfers.
Leads annual audit process with external auditors.
Leads annual budgeting, financial modeling, planning, and analysis with CFO.
Reviews and approves bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.
Coordinates 340B activities and implements process improvements through staff training or system integrations.
