Job summary

Hastings Public Schools in south-central Nebraska seeks a Director of Finance to lead all financial management and accounting operations. The role reports to the Superintendent and participates as a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet, driving data-driven budgeting and compliance.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree or higher and obtain proper Nebraska administrative certification. Competitive salary and fringe benefits are provided; open until filled.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required (or eligible)
• Strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders
• Ability to lead data-driven budgeting and financial decision-making
• Experience with K-12 school finance is preferred
