Job summary

Steadfast Executive Search LLC is engaged by a private equity-backed manufacturing organization on the Space Coast to identify a hands-on Director of Finance and controllership leader. This role works closely with the President in a fast-paced, in-office setting, driving both core accounting operations and financial initiatives.

Responsibilities include monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, ERP support, cost analysis, internal controls, and leading a small team with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is a must.
• Fully onsite role on Space Coast and ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and key accounting activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Operate within an ERP environment supporting financial reporting and operations.
• Lead and develop a small accounting team and build the function over time.
• Drive process improvements for scalability and efficiency.
• Support audit and compliance activities within the accounting function.
