Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Director of Finance for an upscale hospitality property in Southwest Florida. This hands-on leader will drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while partnering with executives to grow revenue and manage expenses.

The role requires a 7–10 year hospitality finance background, 3+ years in a director-level position, strong internal controls, and proficiency with hospitality accounting systems. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years in hospitality finance or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in a Director of Finance or senior leadership role.
• Experience in full-service hotels or luxury resorts.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and internal controls.
• Experience overseeing multiple revenue-generating departments.
• Advanced Excel and hospitality systems proficiency.
• CPA/CMA or MBA preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all property accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor departmental profitability, labor, cash flow, and overall performance.
• Partner with executives to identify revenue growth and expense opportunities.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee audits, reconciliations, and ownership reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to support long-term objectives.
