Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Director of Finance for an upscale Southwest Florida hospitality property on Marco Island. The role leads property accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, partnering with the executive team to drive profitability and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in hospitality finance, HOA or CAM license experience, and a proven track record in managing multiple revenue streams and high-level internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 7-10 years of progressive hospitality finance experience.
• HOA experience or a CAM license is required.
• Minimum 3 years in a Director of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance, Controller, or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience in full-service hotels, luxury resorts, or complex hospitality operations.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience overseeing multiple revenue-generating departments.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with hospitality accounting systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
