Job summary

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, MD, is seeking a Director of Finance who will oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensure accuracy, efficiency and adherence to financial regulations and standards, and provide financial support to hotel management.

The role leads monthly closes, budgeting, audit coordination, and SOX compliance, while mentoring the finance team and partnering with owners to drive cost efficiency and revenue growth, consistent with

Qualifications

5 years or more of finance career progression in hospitality or related industry.
2+ years in Director-level leadership within hospitality or complex environments.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review all monthly and annual financial statements.
Manage and lead hotel on and off-site accounting functions including budgeting, month-end close, cash management.
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan.
Complete the year-end process and coordinate the external auditors’ visits.
