Job summary

The Macon Marriott City Center, managed by Mainsail Lodging & Development, seeks a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy for this premier hotel and adjacent property. You will drive revenue enhancement, control costs, and deliver accurate analytics to the team and investors.

As a member of the property executive committee, you will set financial direction, champion sound decisions, and guide staff across properties with strong governance and integrity.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or related major is highly preferred.
• 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting in hospitality industry is required.
• Experience in a senior financial management position; Marriott experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial practices for Macon Marriott City Center and Hotel Forty Five.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Coordinate with Mainsail corporate accounting for timely reporting and consistency.
• Maintain balance sheet accounts with appropriate documentation per company SOPs.
• Lead forecasting, annual budgets and business plans.
• Safeguard assets and maximize profitability through internal controls and audits.
