Job summary

The Macon Marriott City Center, a premier full-service hotel, seeks a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy and reporting. You will oversee all financial practices, produce timely reports, and partner with corporate accounting to safeguard assets and maximize profitability.

As a member of the property executive team, you will mentor staff, drive forecasting and budgeting, and ensure franchise and management agreements compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences in Central

Qualifications

• Experience leading hotel or hospitality finance teams is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Ability to drive profitability and cost controls

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial practices for Macon Marriott City Center and Hotel Forty Five.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Coordinate with corporate accounting to ensure timely reporting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly with proper documentation.
• Develop forecasts, annual budgets and business plans.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and maximize profitability.
• Participate in sales and revenue strategy meetings.
• Ensure tax compliance and accurate accruals.
• Develop property team members' business acumen in revenue growth and cost control.
• Lead and mentor direct reports; training and continuing education.
• Review vendor contracts and participate in negotiations.
• Ensure adherence to Franchise and Management Agreements.
