Share Medical Center seeks a Director of Finance to lead the hospital's financial operations on site. The role partners with the Fractional CFO to manage cash flow, budgeting, and grant compliance while ensuring regulatory compliance and responsible stewardship of resources.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or equivalent, healthcare finance experience, and strong leadership in revenue cycle and cost controls. Rural hospital experience is preferred; BLS certification is required within 90 days of

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
Progressive financial leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare system is expected.
CPA credential preferred; HFMA or CHFP certifications are pluses.

Responsabilités

Oversee day-to-day financial operations and internal controls for Share Medical Center.
Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
Direct revenue cycle activities including patient access, coding, billing, and denial management.
Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and ensure timely reporting.
Monitor grants, debt covenants, and restricted funds; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Review vendor contracts and capital expenditures; provide financial recommendations to CEO.
