Job summary

LMG Staffing Solutions, based in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial operations for its federal government contracting portfolio. The role requires hands-on leadership, deep costpoint expertise, and partnership with executive leadership to scale growth.

Responsibilities include managing Costpoint, governing government invoicing via WAWF/IPP/GSA, and delivering monthly statements, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CFA, CGFM, or CMA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Expert-level experience with Deltek Costpoint is required.
• Extensive experience supporting government contractors.
• Strong knowledge of DCAA compliance, FAR, indirect rate structures, and cost-plus accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial management, accounting, compliance, and reporting.
• Manage Deltek Costpoint, including project accounting and system configuration.
• Oversee government contract invoicing and vendor/payables processing.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Operations, PM, HR, and leadership to monitor contract performance.
• Support inventory accounting and manufacturing/ distribution finance controls.
• Ensure GAAP, FAR, DCAA compliance and readiness for audits.
