Job summary

MaineHousing is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and loan servicing accounting. You will ensure GAAP compliance, lead the finance team, and provide strategic financial guidance to the executive leadership and Board of Commissioners.

You will manage annual budgets, coordinate audits, and oversee relationships with banks, auditors, and vendors, while driving financial policy and controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business; or 10 years in a leadership role with 4 years supervisory exp.
• CPA license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash management, forecasting and GL functions.
• Lead annual operating and program budgeting with executive leadership.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements and reports for leadership and board.
• Manage banking, loan servicing, auditors and other vendors.
• Direct loan servicing accounting for single and multifamily portfolios.
