Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a Finance Director – Aftermarket to lead financial planning, reporting and strategy for the aftermarket business.

You will partner with business leaders to drive performance, profitability, and capital allocation, while building robust financial processes and controls. The role requires extensive experience in finance and leadership within manufacturing or aerospace, with relocation to East Aurora, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA/CPA is a plus but not required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, operations management, or supply chain.
• At least 5 years managing, coaching and developing high performing teams.
• Demonstrated experience influencing others and/or leading and developing direct reports.
• Strategic mindset with ability to see big picture opportunities and proactively bring recommendations forward.
• Comfort with ambiguity and driving new processes to address business opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to relocate to East Aurora, NY and be on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and finance teams to drive financial performance through insightful analysis, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to business strategy and sustainable growth initiatives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes with accuracy and integrity of results.
• Develop and enhance financial processes, reporting, and performance metrics to improve visibility into sales, operating margin, working capital, and performance.
• Provide strategic financial guidance on major opportunities, investments, pricing, costing, and customer negotiations.
• Collaborate with Business Directors to develop commercial models that support profitable growth.
• Deliver actionable insights by identifying trends, evaluating risks and opportunities, and recommending data-driven solutions.
