Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA/CPA is a plus but not required.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, operations management, or supply chain. Similar industry preferred but not required.
  • At least 4 years managing, coaching and developing high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing others and/or leading and developing direct reports.
  • Strategic mindset, ability to see big picture opportunities and proactively bring recommendations forward.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and driving new processes to address business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and with external constituencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve performance and results through the managing of people and teams by setting expectations, creating a culture of accountability, and providing timely coaching.
  • Ability to relocate to East Aurora, New York and be present on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and finance teams to drive financial performance through insightful analysis, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to business strategy, decision-making, and sustainable growth initiatives.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
  • Develop and enhance financial processes, reporting, and performance metrics to improve visibility into sales, operating margin, working capital, and overall business performance.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance on major business opportunities, investments, pricing, costing, and customer negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Business Directors to develop commercial models that support profitable growth and effective capital allocation.
  • Deliver actionable insights by identifying trends, evaluating risks and opportunities, and recommending data-driven solutions to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, financial controls, governance requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance, providing meaningful analysis of both financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Manage, coach and develop direct reports
  • Actively advocating for continuous improvement, efficiency, and means to increase value to internal/external customers

Onsite - Buffalo, NY

Our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Finance Director - Aftermarket. This role is located in East Aurora, New York and reports to the Senior Finance Director for Commercial Aircraft Group.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA/CPA is a plus but not required.

  • Manufacturing and/or aerospace industry experience highly preferred

  • SAP experience and/or knowledge of ERP business systems

  • Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

  • Experience with Product Cost Analysis and Purchase Price Variance (PPV)

  • Experience with long-term accounting and/or government finance

As the Finance Director - Aftermarket you will

Salary Range Transparency

Buffalo, NY $170,000.00-$200,000.00 Annually
