Akamai’s Financial Development Program (AFDP) offers a three-year rotation across finance specialties in Cambridge, MA. You’ll tackle budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting while gaining exposure to business units, corporate FP&A, and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior internship or work experience in financial analysis or similar role.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and willingness to learn new roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks; perform resource planning analysis.
• Perform deep-dive variance analysis with accounting to ensure proper expense recognition.
• Learn the systems, tools and reporting cadences used across the finance org.
• Provide timely monthly financial reporting and analyze variances, drivers and trends.
• Develop new data, reports, models and ad hoc analyses to support business needs.
• Identify process improvements and lead implementation with teams.
