Job summary

Franklin Electric Co. in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Finance Development Program Analyst to build future finance leaders through rotational experiences across finance and accounting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or fifth-year master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, or business-related degree is required
  • Equivalent GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel preferred
  • Passion for finance and accounting
  • Relevant internships/co-ops or project experience a plus
  • Ability to excel in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual packages with balance sheet and P&L analyses
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual budget process and rolling forecasts, analyze variances
  • Data & AI-enabled Solutions: Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to solve business problems and improve processes
  • Business Partnership: Partner with cross-functional teams across NAM, LATAM, South America, EMEA, APAC to provide insights

The Finance Development Program (FDP) is designed to build Franklin Electric's future finance leaders through rotational experiences, executive exposure, mentorship, and challenging business assignments. FDP participants complete three, 12-month rotations in various finance and accounting departments, developing critical leadership and technical skills while benefitting from in-depth and ongoing support, training and coaching.

What you will be doing:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages, including balance sheet and P&L analysis.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budget process and rolling forecasts, analyzing variances.
  • Data & AI-enabled Solutions: Solve business problems and improve processes through proficiency and interest in leveraging data, analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
  • Business Partnership: Work with cross-functional teams in various regions (NAM, LATAM, South America, EMEA, APAC) to provide insights.

What you need:

  • A bachelor’s or fifth-year master’s degree (received by May 2027) in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, or business-related degree is required
  • An equivalent cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is required
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
  • Passion for finance and accounting
  • Relevant, real-world experience through prior projects, internships and co-ops is a plus
  • Ability to excel in a team-based environment
