Job summary

The Bay Family of Companies seeks a Finance Department Manager to lead financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and process improvement across entities and segments. You will partner with business leaders to interpret results, monitor KPI performance, strengthen internal controls, and support timely close and audit activities.

This role requires manufacturing accounting experience, FP&A expertise, multi-entity reporting, and advanced Excel with ERP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience required.
• Three years of people leadership/management experience required.
• Manufacturing accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity reporting and/or foreign currency reporting preferred.
• Experience in FP&A analysis and business partnering and executive reporting.
• Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel; ERP/reporting tools experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Staff and Sr. Accountants.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close and prepare financial statements and reports.
• Review key journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; resolve reconciling items.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and workpaper prep.
• Develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting (sales, margin, labor, overhead).
• Build ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare revenue and expense analyses; partner with leaders on risks/opportunities.
• Drive process improvements in finance controls and reporting across segments.
• Occasional overnight travel up to 5% may be required.
