Job summary

The Bay Family of Companies’ Corporate Office seeks a Finance Department Manager to lead financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and process improvement across entities. You will partner with business leaders to interpret results, monitor KPIs, strengthen internal controls, and support timely close and audits.

You will oversee a team of staff and senior accountants, manage month-end close, and drive performance through KPI dashboards and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Five+ years in accounting/finance (public or private)
• Three+ years in people leadership/management
• Manufacturing accounting/finance experience preferred
• Experience in multi-entity and/or foreign currency reporting preferred
• FP&A-style analysis and business partnering experience
• Strong financial modeling skills in Microsoft Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot)
• Experience with ERP/reporting tools a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of staff and senior accountants in the Finance function.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and workpaper preparation.
• Develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting (sales, margin, labor, overhead).
• Create ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare revenue and expense analyses with business leaders for risk/opportunity assessment.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, controls, and reporting across segments.
• Occasional overnight travel up to 5% may be required.
