Job summary

The Bay Family of Companies is seeking a Finance Department Manager to lead the Corporate Finance team, driving financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and process improvement across entities. You will partner with business leaders to interpret results, monitor KPIs, strengthen internal controls, and support timely close and audit activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field required.
• Minimum five years progressive experience in accounting/finance (public and/or private).
• Three years of experience leading or managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of staff and senior accountants.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities and prepare financial statements and reports.
• Review key journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; ensure accuracy and timely resolution.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and support documentation.
• Develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting (sales, margin, labor, overhead).
• Produce ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support decisions.
