Job summary

Humana seeks a Technology Implementation Lead to translate business needs into scalable, cloud-first data solutions for Finance, aligning with enterprise data strategy and governance. You will drive Databricks-based development, data quality, metadata, and reference data management across full project lifecycles.

You’ll partner with cross-functional teams, present executive updates, and ensure solutions meet business and control requirements while supporting a remote workforce across EST/CST

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance or a related technical field
• 5 or more years of total experience in financial systems or data solutions
• 2 or more years of experience developing data solutions on Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
• Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
• Experience translating business requirements into data models, transformations, and curated datasets
• Experience working with data foundations, including Data Quality, Metadata, or Reference Data Management
• Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
• Facilitate cross-functional teams' efforts
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data solution implementation across design, development, testing, and production
• Translate business strategy into scalable cloud-first data solutions
• Contribute to Databricks-based development (table builds, transformations, optimization)
• Partner with IT for implementation and ensure readiness for production support
• Provide strategic guidance to leadership on data foundation priorities and gaps
• Drive governance and data foundations across Data Quality, Metadata, and Reference Data Management
