Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Finance Data Governance Consultant to establish and operationalize the Finance Data Governance capability. This contract role partners across Finance and Technology to define standards, document data and lineage, and support governance for critical data products.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in data governance, Finance data management, Finance transformation, or related consulting roles.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes including general ledger, reporting, consolidation, planning, forecasting, close and reconciliation.
• Experience documenting data definitions, rules, mappings, hierarchies, lineage, and data quality requirements.
• Ability to partner with Finance, Accounting, BI, security and enterprise technology teams.
• Independent working style in a fast-moving, greenfield environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Finance Data Governance Foundation with roles, decision rights, forums and operating cadences.
• Build Finance Data Inventory and Business Glossary with ownership and metadata publication workflows.
• Document Data Lineage and Transformation Logic across source systems and reporting layers.
• Establish Data Quality standards, rules, monitoring, and remediation workflows.
• Govern Finance Master Data and hierarchies including accounts, entities, regions, currencies.
• Support priority Finance data products and governance of SAP data and downstream reports.
• Drive adoption through workshops, executive updates, and onboarding of new data domains.
