Job summary

Superhuman is seeking a Data Engineer on the Finance & Revenue team to own revenue data pipelines, models, and datasets powering ARR, NRR, bookings, and revenue reporting across the Superhuman Suite.

This hybrid role collaborates with Finance, Revenue Operations, Analytics, Product, and Engineering to turn billing and usage signals into reliable, decision-grade data while improving data quality and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and operating production data pipelines and data platforms.
• Proficient in SQL with Spark and cloud data warehouse experience (Databricks, Delta Lake, dbt, Snowflake).
• Strong data modeling and data warehouse design skills for clear, reliable datasets.
• Rigorous data quality, observability, and reconciliation for revenue data.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and CI/CD for data (Databricks Workflows or Airflow).
• You can use AI-assisted tools like Codex or Claude Code responsibly to move faster.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable data pipelines (Spark/Databricks) for billing, subscription, payment, and bookings data.
• Build foundational datasets for ARR, NRR, bookings, and revenue metrics with a trusted view.
• Contribute to revenue attribution by connecting product usage and commercial signals into a clear view.
• Model revenue data into clean, reusable tables for self-serve access by Finance and Analysts.
• Own data quality, freshness, and reliability with automated checks and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, Analytics Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate questions into robust models.
• Continuously improve performance, cost efficiency, and developer experience of the finance data platform.
