Job summary

AGS - American Gaming Systems in Las Vegas seeks a Finance Data & Automation Analyst to streamline finance and accounting workflows using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

You will build data pipelines, dashboards, and automated reports, collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, IT, and other teams, and ensure data quality and governance. 2+ years in finance analytics and strong Excel skills required. Experience with AI-assisted tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Two or more years of experience in finance, accounting, data analytics, financial systems, business intelligence, or related field.
• Experience with financial or operational data.
• Familiarity with finance activities: reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, close.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or comparable MS data platform.
• Strong Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables, data validation, analysis.
• Able to investigate data discrepancies and validate results against source information.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Able to learn new tools and work independently with guidance from a manager.

Responsibilities

• Document current processes and identify manual work with finance and accounting teams.
• Evaluate automation opportunities based on value, complexity, risk, resources.
• Simplify and standardize processes before automating.
• Build and maintain data workflows and reporting solutions in Fabric and Power BI.
• Connect and transform data from financial systems, planning platforms, operational systems, spreadsheets, APIs.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and datasets.
• Test automated processes against source systems and expected outcomes.
• Monitor data quality and upstream system changes.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, transformation logic, testing results, and support procedures.
• Ensure solutions are auditable and governed; collaborate with Accounting and IT.
