Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a senior finance data professional to own the requirements and design of the finance data layer, ensuring reconcilable data across ERP and analytics platforms.

You will work with SQL, dimensional modeling, Power BI, and the Microsoft Power Platform to enable reporting, controls, and AI-assisted analysis, collaborating with engineering to align standards and data quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in finance data and analytics with deep finance-domain expertise.
• Strong data literacy, including SQL and dimensional modeling.
• Demonstrated record of designing reconciliation and data-quality controls.
• Judgment to distinguish a data defect from an accounting difference.

Responsibilities

• Specify ingestion and transformation requirements from ERP and finance platforms.
• Maintain finance data-model definitions and master-data and hierarchy governance.
• Design data-quality and reconciliation controls proving completeness between source and target.
• Define continuous-control monitoring.
• Shape AI-assisted analysis such as automated flux commentary.
• Partner with LinkedIn engineering, which builds and operates pipelines, on standards and sequencing.
• Determine whether discrepancies are data defects or accounting differences.
