Job summary

Jobtailor in Chicago seeks a Data Architect to design, enhance, and maintain financial data architectures, ensuring availability, scalability, and high performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions, enforce data governance, and uphold privacy regulations across platforms. You will streamline processing, support risk management controls, and stay forward-thinking about deploying new capabilities internally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in regulatory reporting, risk management and/or data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and schema design.
• Strong proficiency in Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Power BI development.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms.
• Understanding of data governance principles.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify themes, trends and patterns, and communicate findings succinctly.
• Ability to learn.
