Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an intern for the Enterprise SG&A finance team. You’ll work with real data from day one, build automations, and ship tools used by finance partners to plan, forecast, and report.

You’ll leverage SQL, Python, and AI tools to improve processes and enable data-driven decisions. You’ll collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and business owners to identify bottlenecks, design better workflows, and ensure data integrity while gaining exposure to defense-focused finance

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build clean, traceable models.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and how a P&L is built.
• Fluency with AI tools and prompt engineering concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to tie numbers.
• Clear written and verbal communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and multi-project workload.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automations for month-end close, reporting, and planning workflows.
• Write SQL and Python against the data warehouse to pull, clean, and analyze financial data.
• Design self-serve dashboards and tools for finance partners and department owners.
• Apply AI to finance workflows, create prompts, agents, and reusable skills, with human checks.
• Set up scheduled tasks and data refreshes for recurring deliverables.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and business owners to document better processes.
• Build checks to catch data issues early and ensure data quality.
• Take projects from idea to handoff and iterate post-launch.
