Job summary

Year Up United in Pittsburgh, PA invites you to join an Entry Level Financial Advisor pathway through an internship/early career program. You’ll gain finance and customer experience training with a hands-on internship at BNY Mellon and dedicated job placement support.

You will participate in classroom training, develop core banking and advisory skills, and build professional networking and resume-building capabilities, with ongoing guidance to launch a career in finance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; no bachelor’s degree yet.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and available Monday–Friday for the program duration.
• Motivation to learn technical and professional skills; interest in relationships/entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Training: intensive in-classroom skill development focusing on Banking, Customer Success, or Insurance Operations & Claims.
• Develop Core Competencies: cultivate a customer-centric mindset and acquire product and service knowledge.
• Build Professional Skills: master business, communication, interviewing, and networking skills, plus resume building.
• Complete Internship: gain practical experience through a structured internship at BNY Mellon, applying learned finance and customer experience principles.
• Prepare for Career Launch: receive ongoing guidance to transition into a professional career pathway.
