Alive Church is seeking a detail-driven Finance Coordinator to maintain accurate, timely financial operations across our campuses. This full-time role is based at our Central campus in Orlando and reports to the Executive Director of Finance & Business Development.

Responsibilities

• Process contractor invoices, issue checks, and manage recurring monthly payments.
• Reconcile weekly deposits and support volunteer teams across every campus.
• Support month-end close by tracking employee expense coding, running financial reports, and flagging budget overages.
• Complete the monthly cash flow analysis.
• Coordinate large, centralized purchases and handle church credit card administration.
• Support giving campaigns, annual contribution statements, and financial metrics for church-wide events and reports.
• Help the finance team and other departments during busy seasons, events, and special projects.

Alive Church is looking for a detail-driven Finance Coordinator to help keep our financial operations accurate, timely, and organized across all of our campuses. This full-time role is based at our Central campus in Orlando and reports to the Executive Director of Finance & Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Process contractor invoices, issue checks, and manage recurring monthly payments


• Reconcile weekly deposits and support volunteer teams across every campus


• Support month-end close by tracking employee expense coding, running financial reports, and flagging budget overages


• Complete the monthly cash flow analysis


• Coordinate large, centralized purchases and handle church credit card administration


• Support giving campaigns, annual contribution statements, and financial metrics for church-wide events and reports


• Help the finance team and other departments during busy seasons, events, and special projects

Qualifications

• A growing, personal relationship with Jesus and alignment with the beliefs and values of Alive Church


• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through


• Strong professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality with financial and giving information


• Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets


• Clear, friendly communication, including the ability to kindly hold staff to deadlines


• A self-starter who manages recurring deadlines well without needing close supervision

Preferred

• 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related finance role


• Experience with accounting and expense management software


• Experience with bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and month-end processes


• Church or nonprofit finance experience
