Job summary

Cloudatus is seeking a Finance & Controlling Specialist to support international IT services with reliable financial operations, clear reporting and coordinated processes.

The role combines operational finance, project controlling and financial planning. You will manage invoicing, cash flow, budgeting and management reporting, collaborating with management and external advisors in a fully remote, flexible setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial controlling, project controlling or operational finance coordination.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, cash flow, payment processes and financial reporting.
• Structured, detail-oriented and proactive working style.
• Confident working with financial systems, spreadsheets and digital workflows.
• Fluent English (B2–C1); German is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in international business environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing invoice processes, including invoice verification, preparation, issuance and distribution.
• Manage project controlling, including timesheet validation, corrections, billing preparation and project profitability monitoring.
• Maintain accounts receivable and payable overviews, coordinate payment reminders and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Monitor cash flow, prioritize payments and coordinate banking activities and payment execution.
• Act as the central interface between management, project teams, external accounting and tax advisors.
• Coordinate payroll-related information, prepare salary payment runs and ensure timely execution based on externally calculated payroll.
• Support annual financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and year-end financial reviews.
• Prepare management reports, financial overviews and controlling analyses.
• Improve financial workflows, reporting quality and coordination across the organization.

At cloudatus, we help midsize and large international organizations design, implement and modernize their IT infrastructure across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments.

We are looking for a Finance & Controlling Specialist to support our international IT services business through reliable financial operations, clear reporting and effective coordination.

The role combines operational finance, project controlling and financial planning. You will coordinate invoicing and payment processes, monitor cash flow and project profitability, and support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Working closely with management, project teams and external accounting and tax advisors, you will help keep financial processes accurate, timely and well organized. You will also have the opportunity to improve workflows and reporting structures as the organization grows.

The position is fully remote, with flexible working arrangements and independent responsibility for your area.

Your Responsibilities
