Job summary

General Motors is offering a summer internship program in the Detroit/Warren, MI area. You will collaborate with diverse teams to assemble data, perform analyses, and present recommendations to GM executives.

The role includes networking with peers and senior finance leaders, plus exposure to Controllership and corporate finance activities. Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with graduation between Oct 2027 and Jun 2028.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
• Must be graduating between Oct 2027 and Jun 2028; CPA track preferred.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week in summer.

Responsibilities

• Assemble data and perform analyses to support GM executives.
• Present recommendations to senior leaders at the internship end.
• Participate in Design/Build/Sell and Services operations activities and case competition.
• Engage with cross-functional teams and gain visibility within GM.
