Job summary

General Motors invites motivated students to join the Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Internship Program in Warren, MI. You’ll be placed in one pillar—Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Other opportunities—based on business needs, gaining hands-on experience with cross-functional teams.

All candidates should be pursuing a relevant Bachelor's degree and be available full-time during the summer. Excellent collaboration skills and a proactive mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the listed areas.
• Must be graduating between December 2027 and August 2029.
• Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing: Source key parts, systems and technologies; balance cost, quality, timing and innovation with suppliers.
• Supply Chain: Plan production and use data to manage demand and materials.
• Logistics: Support inbound/outbound logistics and design routes and solutions to reduce cost and improve delivery.
