Job summary

CCS Financial Services (CFS) is a family-owned company with strong growth and a solid culture, based in Madison, WI. This role partners directly with the CFO to align accounting, analysis, and business strategy, helping drive critical decisions.

You’ll lead a tenured team, own the month-end close, and influence budgeting, forecasting, and pricing while maintaining work-life balance in a hybrid environment. A CPA is a plus, MBA preferred, and a focus on integrity and teamwork guides the operation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred. CPA is a plus.
• Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to think beyond traditional accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills required; Power Query and SQL experience are a plus.
• Experience with ERP/business systems like E-Automate, ConnectWise, LeaseWave.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Analyze business performance, pricing, costs, and financial opportunities; connect accounting results to business objectives.
• Partner with the CFO and leadership on business cases, budgeting, forecasting, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two direct reports while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Support growth opportunities including expansion into the dealership side of the business.
