Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in North Kingstown, RI seeks a Controller to lead daily accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with operations on costing and inventory control. The role oversees staff, enforces internal controls, and supports the Director of Finance with strategic analysis.

Ideal candidate has 10–12 years progressive accounting experience with manufacturing exposure, plus CPA/CMA. ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred; MBA a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Manage cost accounting, inventory control, and variance analysis.
• Develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support audits and provide strategic analysis to leadership.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff; drive process improvements.
• Partner with operations and supply chain on cost reduction.
